Field Trip Programs
All field trip programs support California State Science Education Standards and Next Generation Science Standards.
Big Lab Field Trips
Each Big Lab program can accommodate a class of up to 40 students, and lasts approximately 75 minutes.

Discovery Lab Field Trips
Each Discovery Lab program takes place in a state-of-the-art lab classroom adjacent to the Big Lab, and can accommodate a class of up to 25 students. Discovery Lab programs last approximately 60 minutes.
Field Trip Reservations
Call 213-744-2019 or visit the Field Trips and Groups page for details about booking a program. All programs must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.
Cost: $200 per lab for up to 15 students. Addt'l students $10 each.
Fall Discount: $170 per lab for up to 15 students. Addt'l students $10 each.
Discount rate is available for visit dates in August, September & October.
All programs require a $25 non-refundable deposit to confirm your scheduled date and time. The deposit is applied to the cost of your program. Programs include admission to the California Science Center.

Meet scouts from all over Southern California and work together on hands-on science activities. Programs fulfill requirements for select badges, patches, and electives
Join us on select Saturdays to explore the world through hands-on science! Each program will highlight a different science topic, with facilitated experiments, investigations and activities designed for children from 5-12 years old.
