What do Young Curators get to do?
Once accepted into the Young Curators program, participants gain access to a variety of exclusive experiences and programs. Available programs vary throughout the year, and are free for all Young Curators
Local middle school-aged youth become ambassadors of the California Science Center and science learning through the Young Curators program, where eligible students participate in free and exclusive science programming at the California Science Center.

Apply for the Fall 2021 session of Young Curators! Applications will close October 8th. Accepted participants will be notified the week of October 11th with instructions to pick up supply boxes from the California Science Center during that week.
It was an amazing experience. Our students had a great time, learned so much, and the activities were great.
Community Programs Coordinator
Reggie Williams has been the Community Programs Coordinator since 2018. In the past, he has been part of other community programs provided by the California Science Center as a youth himself: Curator Kids Club (Young Curators) and Community Teen Program. His experience in both programs has given him the motivation to return and give a new generation of youth positive experiences with Sciences.

Kristen joined the California Science Center in 2010, with a focus on programs to serve youth in the California Science Center’s neighborhood. With an M.S. in Science Education, Informal Settings, Kristen is dedicated to providing high quality, fun, and engaging science programs for all students.
